EMERGENCY SERVICES
Mental health emergency services are available 24 hours a day for individuals in Crisis by calling (989) 463-4971, or after 5:00 p.m. (989) 463-1101. Trained clinicians are available to help resolve a crisis situation.
INTENSIVE SERVICES
When intensive behavioral health care is necessary, a mental health professional will assess the individual's need and refer to the appropriate level of care. This may include impatient care at local hospitals or in a state facility, or range of community treatment alternatives such as Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Case Management, and Intensive Out Patient or other treatment programs to match the need of the individual, such as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program.
Counseling
Counseling and therapy services are offered to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing problems. These services include individual, group, relationship, and family therapy. Service program assignments are made on the basis of severity to the treatment modality that best assists them in function most effectively and productively in daily life.
